We all know Monday's are hard. Waking up early after a long long weekend of resting, sharing with friends and family, just going back to work, study or to do our daily chores isn’t what our heart would love to do. We feel tired, low of energy, with almost no motivation to start that awful long week, but there is nothing better than a good, hot, flavory cup of coffee accompanied by some cookies or bread to give you that extra push to run that mile that’s still to come for the rest of the week. Nothing like coffee to wake up those still asleep neurons and that sleepy energy.
While most are aware that coffee is a brewed drink prepared from roasted coffee beans, a majority are naive to its nutritional benefits. Though it provides the caffeine and mental stability one is looking for, it is also loaded with antioxidants that can increase energy levels and nourishment including riboflavin, pantothenic acid, manganese and potassium, and magnesium and niacin. As said before, there is nothing better to refill those lost energies, with an amazing cup of coffee every morning, mostly every Monday morning, to start the week on the right foot.
"Nothing says coffee like six o' clock in the morning."
At Shirts House we just adore coffee, we love having that extra energy every morning and for you to enjoy this adorable beverage, we have created a little list of the benefits that come by drinking that sweet cup of coffee.
Researchers at the Seoul National University determined that the aroma of coffee could help reduce the leves of stress felt as a result of sleep deprivation.
As reported in 2012 drinking coffee may help people with Parkinson’s disease control their movement. “Studies have shown that people who use caffeine are less likely to develop Parkinson’s disease, but this is one of the first studies in humans to show that caffeine can help with movement symptoms for people who already have the disease.”
A study done by the National Institute of Health found that those who drink four or more cups of coffee were about 10 percent less likely to be depressed than those who had never touched coffee. The proposed reason coffee makes you feel good is because of those trusty antioxidants.
A great stud by Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, determined that women who drink three or more cups of coffee a day are much less likely to develop skin cancer than those who don’t.
You usually drink coffee when you are sleep-deprived, right? Well, that much-needed jolt not only keeps you awake, it makes you sharper. Coffee allows your brain to work in a much more efficient and smarter way. TIME reporter, Michael Lemonick, says, “When you’re sleep-deprived and you take caffeine, pretty much anything you measure will improve: reaction time, vigilance, attention, logical reasoning — most of the complex functions you associate with intelligence.”
